Hort, sen., Esq., J.P. This most desirable investment offers an opportunity rarely to be met with, it consists of a capital Shop doing a really good ready money business in the general line, with a Cottage attached containing two rooms. The property is Freehold, with 24 feet frontage, and a depth of 157 feet, the soil is extremely rich, and the Garden abundantly stocked with fruit trees. The returns average £25 weekly, and it is -situated in a rapidly improving neighbourhood. The ill health of the proprietor has been the sole cause of this snug iittle freehold being placed in the hands of the Auctioneer for disposal. HPHAT Commodious and well built -^ Family Residence, situated in Willis Street, Te Aro, lately in the occupation of Mr. Richard Barry. This comfortable dwelling has recently undergone a most thorough repair, is substantially built and is lined throughout and papered. Contains two parlours, three bed rooms, ante room, and kitchen, having over one third of an acre of land newly fenced and cropped. There is an unexpired term of lease for 1 3 years from 25th June last, at the low rental of £13 per annum, with a purchasing clause guaranteed. From the central business position cf this desirable property, a first rate investment is thus offered, the present proprietor removing to Rangitikei being the sole cause of this property being brought to the hammer. The property which is very pleasantly situated is held on lease for 21 years of which 18 years and 10 months remain unexpired, at the low rental of £8 per annum, there is a quarter of an acre of ground, and a Cottage, let to a respectable tenant for £10 10s. per year, so enabling the purchaser to live entirely rent free. The very agreeable situation, and the close approximation of this residence to the centre of business will render further comment from the Auctioneer unnecessary. JAMES SMITH has received instructions to sell by public auction, at his Great Land Sale on 16th November next, the undermentioned properties, viz.: — By order of Mr. H. B. Sbaly, HPHAT desirable Weather-boarded Cot- •*■ tage and Land, being part of Town section No. 561, situated on Golder's Hill, Thorndon Flat, now in the occupation of Mr. H. Brooking, having a frqntage of 80 feet by 120 in depth. There is an unexpired lease of about 15 years to run at the moderate ground rent of £5 per annum. By order of Mr. Daniel Munn. Part of Town acre No. 544, fenced in, ha ving a Beach frontage of 23 feet, and adjoining the residence of James Tame, Esq. Also, part of Town acre No. 1 34, Te Aro Flat, adjoining Messrs. Rhodes aad Bannister's portion of said acre. By order of Mr. Richard Barry. A valuable Plot of Land, having a frontage , of '60 feet to Mulgrave-strect, being portion of Todds Grant. Hoogard, Esquire,The Cottage at present occupied by Mr. Allington, Karori Road, with Two Acres of Land cleared and partly fenced. There is a good stream of water running close to this property. By order of Mr. Pierce Cotter, That valuable Building Allotment, Town Acre 179 (well known as Reids Acre), having frontages to Cuba and Ghuznee Street. This valuable double frontage is admirably adapted for a Bake-house or Butcher's Shop, being most centrally situated in a populous and thriving neighbourhood, and has a capital stream of pure wa?er running through the Property.
