WANGANUI RACES. (From a correspondent.)

These races came off on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday last, the 6th, 7th, and Bth instant, on the racecourse about half a mile beyond the town. They were well attended by the Military and settlers at Wanganui, and there were several arrivals from Wellington and the adjoining districts of persons desirous to witness the sports.
