Colonial Secretary's Office, Wellington, 16th April, 1849. rpHE LIEUTENANT- GOVERNOR beJ- lieving that some of the Regulati ons relative to the Colonial Hospital are not sufficiently known to the Public, has been pleased to direct the following to be made known for general information : — First. That the Hospital is open to the visits and inspection of the Public at all reasonable times. Secondly. That any legally qualified Medical Practitioner can, if he wi&hes it, be present at any surgical operations which may take place there, and of which due in- j timation is given when circumstances admit of this being done, by a notice posted up in the entrance hall of the Institution. j By His Excellency's Command, j Alfred Domett, Colonial Secretary. ;
