To the Editor of the New Zealand Spectator.
Sir, — Can you inform the public what has become of the memorial to Lord Stanley of the landowners of this place, transmitted to Auckland upwards of six months ago? I believe no acknowledgement has yet been made of its receipt, and we naturally feel suspicious that the person who could forge a dispatch, would not scruple to Burse a petition.— Yours, August 15, 1845. Alpha.
