THE UNDERSIGNED having just returned from Sydney, begs to inform the public, that he has re-commenced business, and has ,on sale the following arjfcicjes, at very Jow prices. — Flour, tea, soap, candles, lamp wick, butter, cigars, biscuit, SPIRITS, a large quantity of NEGROHEAD TOBACCO, suitable for native trade, calicos, blankets, canvass, bed tick, prints, moleskin trowsers, children's shoes and men's do., check, regatta and blue shirts, men's elastic braces, socks and stockings, cloth caps, Scotch bonnets, glazed hats, beef in tierces, with a great variety of other goods.

A case containing ladies' straw bonnets, a few blonde scarfs, mits, collars, flowers, and sundry other articles. The above goods will be sold in large or small quantities, to suit the convenience of purchasers. N.B. — Oil, whalebone, flax, salt pork, live pigs, bacon, maize, wheat, or any colonial produce taken in exchange, or one third CASH given, and remainder in the above articles. M. Asher, (Late J. M. HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY. AT the next Exhibition of the Horticultural Society, which will take place at the Biitannia Saloon on Tuesday, the 25th instant, a first and second Prize of 20s. and 10s. will be offered for the best samples of wheat; and a first and second Prize of 15s. and 7s. for the best samples of barley; the samples to be not less than one bushel, and the parties exhibiting to declare the same to be fair average samples. March 14, 1845.
