RAGLAN INTERESTS
FAREWELL TO TEACHER A farewell dance was held in honour of Aliss Nancy Walter, a member of the. teaching staff of the Raglan District High School, who is leaving Raglan shortly to be married. The function was organised by members of the Church of England, Aliss Walter having been organist for several years, and members of the Raglan and Okete Tennis Clubs, of which organisations sho had been an activo member. Miss Walter, who was wearing a frock of Burgundy crepe relieved with gold lame, was received by three hostesses, Mrs. B. Oxenbridge, Mrs. Harris Taylor and Airs. Gordon Dent, and presented with a Victorian posy. During the evening the 'guest of honour was presented with n cheque * t ) l ® hopo that she iTifo much happiness in her future
