BRIDGE EVENING

FUNCTION AT HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL OLD GIRLS SCHOLARSHIP FUND AIDED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday Glowing fires and bowls of flowers in golden tones, jonquils and Iceland poppies, brightened the Centrewav Rooms last evening, when a successful bridge and mail jongg party in aid of their scholarship fund was held by the committee of the High School Old Girls' Association. The guests were received on arrival by the president, Mrs. C. Browne, who wore a frock of iris brown crepe cotelle. and the secretary, Miss Edna Bennett, in nut brown velvet.

The prize-winners were: —Auction, Mrs. 11. G. Loveridgc, Mrs. l'\ G. Woollcr (hidden number); contract, Mrs. A. St. C. Belcher, Mrs. L. Ladner (hidden number); mail jongg, Miss M. Riley.
