THE LEAGUE TROUBLE

AUCKLAND, Last Night. /Ihe reports of the joint managers, Messrs E. H. Mair and G. H. Ponder, regarding the recent trouble in the ranks of the New Zealand League football team on loup in England will not be published according to a decision made by the council of the New Zealand Rugby League. The r.eport, it is stated, is a very comprehensive one. and it covers fully the causes and results of the • conduct of seven players who were , later disqualified for lif'e as a re- ! sult of refusing to play when select- ; ed. A sub-corrimittee was appointed i to confer with H. M. Rogerosn (the . League's honorary solicitor) and the j report was thoroughly perused be- ; fore being submited in full detail j to the Council. The proceedings at I the meeting were taken in commit- j tee and' this hrief announcement was made later.^j !
