NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. The proposal to raise a loan of £186,000 for extensions of the water and electric works was carried1 hy a ratepa.vers poll to-day by a majority of 281, voting being 1110 for, and 829 against. Only a few weeks ago tbe sarne proposal was rejected by a fair margin.
