: BRISRANE,* Last Night. ' ; An aeroplane belonging to the Queensland and Northern Territory Air Service flying north from Cl^arleville with mails and passengers j crashed near Tambo. It was about ; to land wh»en it suddenly nosedived from a height of 500 feet. The pilot, Flighf Lieutenant A. Davidson, spn of the editor of the "Adelaide News" who was making a fii'st trip on the route, and a passenger 51r A. W. Bell, of Winton, were killed. The only other person aboard was a passenger named Donald who was terribly injured _and died1 at the hospital.
