Labour members forming almost half of the Glasgow Council reaffirmed a decision not to participate in the ceremonies when the King visits the (city ou July 12. The party at a meeting to-day re.solved that no Labourite should scrve on any committee making arrangements, and every vote of money should he opposed. "The Daily Express' " Glasgow correspondent states that unless the Lahourites change their attitude^the Lord Provost may be forced to ask his Majesty to cancel the visit.
