BLENHEIM, Last Night. A Maori girl, Margaret Jacobs (18) was playing on the bank of the Wairau river Satdr'day. She fell Tn and was drowned. The body was recovered. DUNEDIN, Last Night. George Uraig Glenn, 50 years of age, single, previously a farm l&bonrer, dropped dead at his residence at 10.20 p.m .on Saturday while undressing. Death is suppored to have been due to heart Tailure. DUNEDIN, Last Night. A three-seater car with three passengers went over a steep bank on Mt. Cargill yesterday afternoon. The car turned two somersaults before landing right side up at the foot of the bank. No one was seriously hurt. Mrs Martha Hunt, 47 years of age, was sent to hospital suffering from severe bruises, but 'the others escaped! unhurt.
