Tho Bohrd, by 7 to 8, decided that it did n-t aeo any necessi y fur furthor onquiry. but would give any facilities if a deputation apply to tho Minister of Justice for a commission of enquiry. Tho Boa d oxpressed sympnJiy with Iho deputation which waited upon it regarding the treatment of contagious diseases, but pointtd out that tho local bodies wero tho propor bodios for thorn to apply to for accomplishing thoir object of obtaining a lock ward.
