CANTERBURY.

The "Lyttelton Times" cays—There was an abundance of wheat offered at the market on Saturday, which, realised about 9s. per bushel. Au advance of about Is. to Is. Gd. has taken place in seed wheat. Flour fetches about £26 to £26 10j. per ton, the receipt of 500 bags from Dunedin by the Albion having had no perceptible effect upon the market. Barley remains unaltered, as is the case with most other descriptions of grain; the price of barley is nominally 4s. per bushel. Oats, feed samples, are quoted at 3s. per bushel, but seed oats aro a triilo higher in price. Potatoes are still in demand, although importations are being made to some extent; the price rules at about £10 per ton wholesale.
