About an Inspector.
TO THE Sir, —The new post office is now nearly completed, and no doubt the contractors, Messrs. Matheson and Baldock are proud of their share of it, us they have a right to he.
The alterations to the fence and Court House steps are quite artistic—set the whole thing off immensely, and reflect great, credit on the inspector’s ingenuity. It. is not everyone who would think of building steps of mud and sticks, and having a panel or two too much fencing. He just has a corner or two put in, because if it had been straightened out the post office would have had to bo moved further along to make room for the gate. When I was a boy .of about five years of age we used to make houses, churches, etc., of mud, and if we had any material left over we would perhaps make a parson or an inspector.—l am MUD.
