Pleasure Cruise.
The Northern Steamship Company’s fine steamer “ Ngapuhi ” will be despatched from Auckland on Friday, February 17th, 1905, for an eight days’ pleasure trip to the beautiful harbours and islands along the Northern Coast, calling at Great Barrier Island, Hen and Chickens, Whangarei, Bay of Islands, Whangaroa, Mangonui, and on the return journey at Kawau and Waiwera. The following is the proposed itinerancy, subject to modifications as circumstances iriay suggest:— Friday, February 17th—Leave Auckland in the evening for Great Barrier Island.
Saturday, February 18th—Excursions round Port Fitzroy, fishing, etc. Leave in the evening for Poor Knights, Hen and Chickens, and Whangarei.
Sunday, February 19th Cruising among Hen and Chicken’s Group and Poor Knights. Arrive at Whangarei about 6 p.m. Monday, February 20th—Excursions to Whangarei Falls and Kamo Mineral Springp.4 > , { Tuesday, February 21st—Arrive early at Russell. Excursions round the various bays. Wednesday, February 22nd, and Thursday. February 23rd—Whangaroa: Excursions round the harbour, fishing, etc. Friday, February 24th—Mangonui and Pacific Cable Station at Doubtless Bay. Aquatic sports in the afternoon. Saturday, February 25th—Arrive early at Kawau, thence to Waiwera. leaving there at 5 p.m. for Auckland. Anyone desirous of so doing may obtain full particulars from any of the Company’s local agents.
