SOVIET PLANES OVER WARSAW
LARGE FIRES STARTED (Rec. 1.0 p.m.) Rugby, Sept. 2. Moscow radio announced that a large formation of bombers raided Warsaw last night. Large fires broke out, particularly in the region of the German headquarters and in the vicinity of three large railway stations. All the Soviet planes returned. —8.0. W.
