MOTOR FATALITY
CHILD THROWN THROUGH WIND SHIELD (By Telegraph—Press Association) ROTORUA, This Day. A fatal motor accident occurred yesterday on the Rotorua-Taupo road at the approach to a bridge crossing the Waikato. Rangi Te Teo was driving from Repapoa to Oliaki, and when approaching the bridge, which is at an acute angle, the steering gear jambed and the car hit a steep bank on the right hand side. Rehi Reweti, aged six years, who was sitting on his mother’s knee, was thrown through the wind shield. When extricated his throat was found to he cut, death following immediately. None of the others were injured.
