MANAWATU TOURNAMENT (By Telegraph—Press Association) PALMERSTON N.. This Day. The Manawatu tennis finals resulted : Men’s singles: Stedman beat Wilson, 8-6, 6-4. Men’s doubles: Wilson and Stedman beat Court and Proctor, 6-1, 6-1. Women’s singles: Miss Nichols beat Miss Knight, 6-2, 6-2. Women’s doubles: Miss Nichols and Mrs Adams beat Misses Knight and Lindsay, 6-3, 6-2.
