FLOATING COFFIN
FOUND IN SYDNEY HARBOUR CONTEXTS SINK BEFORE SECURED (United Press Association—By Eleetrio Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 13th January, 10.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Entering Sydney Heads a yacht bumped into a partly submerged object, and the boat got alongside what proved to be a coifin. The bump had knocked the lid off, disclosing a lot of watersoaked material and what looked like a mummy. Before the coffin could be secured it turned over and the contents disappeared. The coffin, which was a Chinese one, was taken in tow. How it came to be in the water is baffling.
