HITCH IN ARRANGEMENTS AIALCOLAI CAAIPBELL’SATTEMPT (United Press Association—By Eleetrio Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 13th January. 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, 12th January. Alalcolm Campbell is ready to embark with his racing car “Blue Bird” on the Homeric on Wednesday next. He was dumbfounded to receive a cable from his manager at Daytona to the effect that Daytona refuses to sanction an attempt. Campbell has not decided what to do. He ascribes the trouble to friction between the Daytona authorities and the American Automobile Association. GOING TO DAYTONA (Received 13th January, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, 12th January. Alalcolm Campbell told the “Evening News”: “I am going to Daytona in any case as I have not received any message from the American Automobile Association to stay away. I hope to clear up the trouble in New York.
