GILLESPIE WINS ON FOUL ?> LEE LANDS LOW BLOW (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY, 9th January. At Leichhardt Stadium to-night Norman Gillespie gained a decision on a foul in the seventh round against tlie negro, Walter Lee, who was having his first fight since his arrival from America. Both scaled 9st 9£lb. Lee was clever and elusive, lie landed a blow low down, which the referee and the crowd saw, and which Gillespie felt severely.
