YOUTH'S ARM BROKEN

While working a winch for hoisting concrete from the bottom floor to the second floor of Pout's new building in Trafalgar street yesterday afternoon Vivian Coombes, a carpenter's apprentice employed by Messrs Robertson Bros. Ltd., became caught by the right arm in the machinery. He was admitted to> the Public Hospital and was found to have sustained a compound fracture of the arm.
