DISTRICT COURT.
SATURDAY. (Before his Honor Judge Haselden.) IN BANKRUPTCY. IN REJ. L. F. ROLLET. In this estate three applications were made, namely :— (1). To vest certain assets disclaimed by the Deputy Official Assignee in 'William Wishaw ; (2). to order Levien and Rollet to pay the Deputy Official Assignee the sum of £1000, alleged to be assets of ■I. L. F. Rollet, or as an alternative that Alice Eleanor Rollet be ordered to pay over that sum ; (3). that an order bo mado in regard to proof of debt of Levien -md Rollet. Mr Richmond Fell appeared for the Deputy Official Assignee, and Mr Maginnity for bankrupt, Mrs Rollet, 'Levien and Rollet and S. Levien. Further hearing of this case was resumed and concluded. After counsel had quoted authorities, his Honor reserved judgment, on the understanding that counsel would submit argument in writing and nKmorand.i of authorities quoted. In ro xtivmao Hume, a bankrupt, motion to upset a transfer from bankrupt to his two sons, Thomas Hume and Hamilton Hume, on the grounds that it was fraudulent and void against the Official Assignee as an act of bank ruptcy. Mr Hayes appeared for the Official Assignee in support of the motion, and Mr Maginnity for the transferees, to oppose. lividence was given by Thomas Hume, Andrew Hamilton Hume and William Rout, junr., D.O.A. His Honor reserved judgment, the -iime course to be followed by counsel as in the previous case. In re Alexander Thomas Stone, application for discharge. Mr Maginnity appeared for bankrupt, and Mr Hayes for Geo. ' Shaw and three other creditors who opposed the application. With the consent of the parties the •case was adjourned to the next sitting of the Court and this concluded the business of the session.
