(Uniteo Passs Association.] DUN'KDIN', TiicFilay. At a meeting to-day the Charitable Aid Board di.-cussed tho Kdvisablcness of attempting to establish a conMimprivo sanatorium of its own. The Chairman (Mr J. H. Walker), erpressed thp opinion that it was absolutely necessary that the Board should obtain sufficient ground from the Government, or otherwise, and proceed with _ the j erection of an up-to-date sanatorium. He hoped to lay before the next meeting some definite scheme. If they found a suitable spot the Government might give it to them. Mr Mosley asked why they should erect a sanatorium at their own expense after having assisted in paying for the Cambridge institution? They should havo the Government assistance. If they got the institution tirst and maintained it aftciwards it would be enough for the ratepayers. The Chairman s-iitl the seeretary would write to the various members of the Ministry and see if their support could be enlisted.
