Melbodbnb, Tuesday. The elections for West Bourke and Ararat took place to day, and regulted in the return of Sir Bryan O'Loughlen for the former place by a small majority. Mr David Gaunaon, the new Minister of Lands, was, however, defeated for Ararat by a large majority. The returns from Moira and Delaiile are not yet complete, but tbe re-election of Mr Bolton (Postmaster-General) and Mr J. H. Graves (Minister of Customs) tor these constituencies is considered certain. Svdkey, Wednesday. Admiral, the Earl of Claiiwilliam, is now out of danger. Icßtrnctions have been received by telegraph from the Admiralty for tbe detached squadron to await further crders before proceeding on the voyage.
