Wellington, Friday. Official telegrams report another bush fire at Parihaka, destroying 30 acres of potatoes. The buildings were saved with difficulty. In the Resident Magistrate's Court, John P. Watt and Albert Barnes, for a breach of clause 108 of the Stamp Act, in omitting to file with the Commissioner a statement in writing within six months after adtDinistralion had been granted of the property, were fined 40s each and costs. T. W. Draper, of the firm of Draper and Charters, died suddenly this morning. Auckland, Friday. At the Police Court to-day, Purcell, a contractor, a bankrupt, was charged by .the Trustee with two offences, namely, removing goods in his estate, and forging a promissory note for £300.
