Sydnkt, Thursday. Arrived — Wakatipu from Wellington. News has been received that gold has been discovered on the Barrier Ranges on the western border of this colony. The appearances are said to be very promising, and there is every prospect of a great rush. Adelaide, Friday. Arrived — Orient Company's Bteamship Cuzco, from Plymouth.
