The Government have received a telegram from Mr Childers resigning his position as Chairman of the Board of Advice of AgentsGeneral for Victoria in London, owing to Ms acceptance of the Secretaryship of State - jEor War in the new Ministry. 7 The Customs revenue for the last year amounted to _£ 150,000, heing a decrease of .£60,000 compared with the previous year, snd notwithstanding the increase of taxation. The total value Of imports for the year shows a decrease exceeding £1,000,000, and the exports show a falling off of £2,500,000.
