MOTUPIKO EDUCATION COMMIT EE.
To the Editor of ihe 'Evenino Mail.' Sir,-- Would you be kind enough to publish thia letter in your paper, with a vie* to tne correction of a letter signed by the Representative of Motupiko at the Central r . ard. which appears in the Mail of June 27. The writer of that let.er is evidently umi the impression th-t I was misin "ormed, '. , let that be as it may, thit resolution to w. h I referred, was passed on the Ist of May, anu the •chairman was requested to communicate the matter to Mr Barnicoat, without delay. , On Juue 5 .the question was put whether he had done so, and the answer was uNo *' He was a?ain requested, and I suppose complied with thst request on June 0, as stited by the Representative of Motupiko. It would nho be as we'l to bear in mind that the chairman denied having complied with the Board's request on June 5, also, that the Chairman's letter to Mr Barnico.it is dated Juue 9. S> I think you wi 1 admit there is very little doubt as to who was misinformed— myself or i*the Representative.— I am, &c, William Gibb.-. Motupiko, July 5.
