The third competition for the City Rifles Champion Medal took place this morning, afc the MaiLai Butts, when it vvas won by Private S. Crossman v/ith a score of 46 points. There wore also &•,»>■ .-.uip-y prizes for tho next two highest, s ., V. i ?\~, the first, of which was won by Lieut. D. Burn, aud the second by Private W. Gollop. The ranges were 200 yards, sfcaudiug, target 6x4 feet; 400 and 500 yards, any position, target 6x6 feet. Five shots at each range. The following are the scores : —
