Berlin, October 9. — The Keichstadt is convoked for the 16th instant. The Budget to be submitted proposes to increase the appropriation for navy and coast defences 5,000,000 thalers. The workmen of Ghent are on strike. They demand a reduction of hours, and double pay for overtime. . A Protestant League is in course of formation throughout Germany, for the expulsion of the Jesuits from the conntry. At a meeting at Dramstadt resolutions were passed opposing the Infallibility as inmicalto the sovereignity of the State, to the liberty of the people, and to freedom of conscience. The Kingdom of Bavaria is to recall foreign Ambassadors, and in future be represented only as a portion of the German Empire.
