IMPORTANT NATIVE NEWS.

Wellington, Jan. 14, 2.18 p.m. News has arrived that Te Kooti has broken camp, and started off for Taurauga, aud orders were at once despatched to reinforce that place. The news is considered very bad, as it is fully believed that the King Natives are playing Mr. M'Lean false. Sir George Bowen visited the Thames on the 1 1th, and was well received. Great indignation has been expressed in Auckland, because the cab-driver, who lately killed a man by furious driving, was let off with a fine of £10.
