THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH TO THE SUPERINTENDENT OF NELSON. The following telegram has been received this afternoon by His Honor the Superintendent: — Wellington, May 3, 11.40 a.m. I am desired by the Duke of Edinburgh to convey to your Honor, and through you to the Provincial Government, and to the inhabitants generally of the Province of Nelson, the expression of H.RH.'s sincerest thanks for the loyal and hospitable reception accorded to him by all classes of the community, and of his warm wishes for the prosperity and welfare of your Province.
