AUCKLAND, May 31. stantial majority voted for the admis- \ sioii of firemen. This supports the protest of the Auckland Union against the formation of the proposed Waihi Enginedrivors, Winders, and Firemen's Un«m on the grounds tliat a similar immunisation existed in Auckland which tne.y could join. The matter pf registration or otherwise of the proposed Waihi Union now rests with tho Minister, who has been advised of tho decision of the local union.
