FIVE FE3 CENT. LEVY AT DUNEDIN.
BILVEDIN, May 31. A meeting of the Waterside Worker*' Uni'ii; was held to-night to consider the que-1 ion of contributing to a levy for the Waihi strikers' fund. There Wero about 100 men present, and a number of proxies were forv,aided, 'lhc meeting was n it open to the press, and an official statement as to tho decision, arrived at was refused. It is understood, however, the onion decided to make a levy <>f 3 pei cent, on the wages cf men:! ?rs for tho fund.
