Jones ; committee, H. Barnes, S. Walker, and J. Grant. The past president, E. C-orbett, was appointed organiser. It is the intention of this Union to organise thoroughly, and it is a move in tlie right direction to appoint an organiser. In selecting Comrade Corbett, the Union is to be congratulated on having a fighter who has the interest of the workers at heart, and in the work before him he has tho best wishes of his numerous friends. The Auckland general laborers again approached the Drainage Board in re-
