TEVIOT ANGLING CLUB

The above club held its second competition on Sunday last when 11 of the club members) tried their luck in the Pomahaka River. Bags were poor, this no doubt being due to the adverse conditions which prevailed over the weekend. The winner of this trip was the young novice sportsman B. Tubman, with nine fish, 81b. He has been showing good form this season and his win was no surprise to his fellow members. The second prize went to R. Beaton with a nice even lot of fish weighing 71bs.
