TEVIOT ANGLING CLUB

The above club held its first ■competition on Sunday last, 18 members taking part. Fishing in most parts was very good and the results obtained are a record for the Club for the start, of the season. A party of six went to the Manaburn Dam and returned with limit bags. Lake Onslow was visited by two sportsmen who also returned very nice bags.

Included in their return was a very nice 5J pounder by Mr H. Tough. Local waters were well fished and in most cases good results were obtained.

The winning basket went to Mr T. Gilchrist with 20 fish 271b., second prize going to H. Lyons 20 fish 20ilb. Members are reminded of the competition at Butchei’s Gully Dam on Sunday next and are asked to make an effort to make this trip worth while.
