Friendly Societies’ Picnic

The much postponed Friendly Societies’ picnic was held at Carnival Park, Pahiatua, on Sunday last. Although tho weather was dull, with one or two showers, there was a good attendance, and those present, particularly the children, voted tho day a most enjoyable one. The thanks of the committee are due to Air. S. J. Judd, who donated a case of apples, and to Mr. J. Macdonald, whose loud-speaker assisted with music and announcements.
