N.S.W. Miners Vote for Resumption

Received Tuesday, 1 a.m. SYDNEY, March 13. By a majority of 105 votes the striking miners on the South Ooast coalfields of New South Wales to-day decided to resume work to-morrow. The voting was: For resumption, 898; against, 793. The dispute which began at Coalcliff on February 14, resulted in the loss of 230,000 tons of coal. Two men suffering from severe Head injuries as the result of a motor cycle accident were taken to the Wellington Hospital yesterday morning from the Paraparaumu district. Mr. R. J. Bachelor, a chemist’s assistant, has since died, while the other man who has not yet been identified is in a serious condition,
