Striking Welsh Miners Returning to Work

Received Tuesday, 1.4 a.m. LONDON, March 13. Reports from Caruiff late last night indicated that nearly 50,000 of the 96,000 striking coalminers in South Wales decided to obey the union leaders and resume work to-day. About 24,000 voted to stay on strike. Tho results of the ballot in a number of lodges are still outstanding.
