(From Our Own Correspondent.) After a lengthy. period as infant mistress at the Shannon School, Mrs. J. ►Sul la van (neo Aliss Trisehler) was farevvelled by the staff and members of the committee at morning tea when opportunity' - was taken by' the headmaster, Air. Dickinson, to make a presentation of a fruit bowl from the staff and a pair of pictures and a vase from the committee. He conveyed their felicitations and wished her every happiness in her married life. Airs. Suilavan has left to join her husband at Te Puke. At a well attended meeting of the W.D.F.U. on Monday afternoon, presided over by the president, ALrs. C. Guerin, the secretary of the flower show committee, Airs. R. H. Charter, handed over to the R.S.A. the sum of £33, being the whole of the proceeds from the show and stall. This amount will bo expended by the R.S.A. on parcels for ►Shannon’s representatives of tho Services,
