Rate Collections
The consolidated rates struck for the Pahiatua Borough Council amounted to £5602 Os lOd. Of this total £5513 2s, or 98.23 per cent., has been collected. Of the £243 13s lOd struck for tire rates £240 19s 4d, or 98.77 per cent., is in hand. The arrears of rates outstanding at April 1 last was £312 Is 3d, of which £l2O 4s lid has been written off. Of the balance of £l9l 16s 4d, £B2 14s 2d been recovered. This represents a percentage of 43.22 per cent.
