Rugby Champions
In winning the second round of the Manawatu Rugby Union's senior championship, against Taranaki, at the Bportsground on Saturday, Armed Fighting Vehicles took the season’s unit honours, as they had previously won the,first, round and no play-off is required. There now remain three senior attractions of note before the completion of the Rugby season—an important. Army encounter in which the representatives of considerable areas will be matched, the visit of a strong team from Waiouru and the senior seven-a-sido tournament.
