Holiday Rail Traffic From Feilding
The holiday rail traffic from Feilding was quite good over the Christmas period' according to the stationmaster , (Air. R. G. Croudis). The indications prior to Christmas week were not very bright, but as the holidays drew near the bookings became very heavy and* although no figures are yet available it is expected that the returns when completed will show that passenger traffic has been fairly heavy from FeildAlr. Croudis stated that the entrainment of members of the special force from Feilding and district was carried out without any trouble and the men were given a good send-off by relations and friends.
