Feilding Youths for Air Force

Yesterday three Feilding youths, Owen Griffin, Ron Hooper and I*. C. Howlett left by the south-bound New Plymouth express for the Royal New Zealand Air Force training camp at Weraroa. Air. Owen Griffin, who was a member of the New Zealand railway staff, stationed at Feilding, was accorded a sendoff by members of the staff and presented with an initialled wallet before leaving. He has been granted extended leave from the Railways and received the good wishes of all for his future success.
