Wellington Croquet Tournament
The Wellington croquet tournament, still in progress, is nearing the final stages and play has now commenced in the club pairs and champion of champions. Results of interest to Palmerston North are:— First life of the level singles: Mrs Miller beat Mrs Anderson (Palmerston North), 26—16; Mrs Bryden won by default from Mrs Lee (Palmerston North); Mrs Anderson beat Mrs Williamson, 26—22. In the level singles, Mrs Ilsley beat Mrs Moxon (Palmerston North),. 26—19.
