Before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the 1 Dannevirke Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning John Pattison Cowie was charged that on July 7, 1936, at Mata--1 mau, being a person undertaking certain electrical wiring work, to wit, the alteration of electrical apparatus on the premises of E. J. Anderson, of Matamau, lie did fail to giv© notice thereof to the electrical supply authority of the ! district, namely, the Dannevirke Electric Power Board, specifying the date on which it was proposed to begin such work and giving details thereof. Defendant pleaded guilty and was fined £2 with costs.
