Stewards are reminded that breakfast will be served on the grounds at about 7.30 a.m. Mr. lan Taylor has kindly consented to officiate as judge of the fat sheep and fat lambs classes. Mr. R. J. MacDonald, of Dannevirke, will be unable to judge the Romney Marsh and iarmors ’ classes, and his place will be taken by Mr. G. E. Allen, of Masterton. The local chopping event is timed to take place at 11.15 a.m., and the maiden pony jump will follow. If the weather clears a record attendance is certain. Late entries have increased the number of ponies and horses in the jumping events to 67—a record for the show. The grandstand is now covered and several improvements have been effected. The seating has been scrubbed, and the building now presents an inviting appearance. The demand for sideshow space is greater than any previous year.
